Tommy McBurney of BSA Troop 219 is leading an Eagle Scout Service Project at Strides of Strength Therapeutic Services. His project includes building a sensory wall to enhance the experience for patrons. To bring this meaningful project to life, Tommy is seeking donations to help cover the cost of materials, supplies, and other essentials.

Strides of Strength is a therapeutic horse-riding nonprofit service that helps provide comprehensive therapeutic programs. These programs serve both children and adults with mental, physical, and functional disabilities. A sensory wall is used in therapeutic services as it helps to calm and reduce anxiety, allows for a safe exploration of different textures, sounds and sights, engaging the senses and offering an option for self-regulation. The repair and re-staining of the two ramps would extend their useful life, allowing them to continue assisting the organization for years to come.

Funds will be used to purchase materials, supplies, and tools to be used to complete the project.

All donations are welcome and appreciated. Please consider donating towards my project!
